My rain garden is amazing! It is so lush and full, and it is bringing an already very close community of neighbors/friends even closer! We will be co-farming/using our herbs and fruits together, and are excited to see how we’ll be using them!

I highly recommend Home Grown Organics. They redesigned and planted our challenging Beacon Hill hillside yard thoughtfully and with an eye towards native and sustainable planting. Their creative and flexible approach were perfect for us and we expanded and extended the process and accomplished more than we thought possible. The team was responsive and cost estimates and time commitments were accurate and met. We were thrilled with the results!

It was a complete pleasure working with John and his crew on my project here in West Seattle. I interviewed a half dozen contractors and landscapers and John was the one who understood my goals and had the ideas and follow-through that convinced me to go with his company. I was not disappointed. The work was done well and on time. There was a couple of complications that surfaced along the way, as happens on all jobs, yet they were handled creatively and competently, without slowing down the project at all. In fact, a slight redesigned was added which enhanced the original design and was completed as though it were part of the overall plan all along. I am grateful for the low stress and high level of quality that went into the completion of my project to completion.

John and the Homegrown Organics team have been a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a rain garden or other landscaping needs. John was quick to reply to my bid request and develop an initial plan and budget, and when my project came up on the schedule both John and his team communicated and executed plans exceptionally well. Our new rain garden is just as I had envisioned and is so beautiful. I love the plants John recommended and look forward to the garden filling, both in plant life and rain water! It is great that the city has the Rain Wise Program to promote these projects, I am happy to be able to contribute to prevent stormwater overflows into the Puget Sound.
