๐ŸฃChickens, Dogs, Cats & More: Workshop Discussion & Garden Tour!
๐ŸŒฑOne wonderful way to maximize growing space in your yardscape is with a living roof! This shed and play area have a rain garden nearby, and the flagstones have steppable plants growing. A green roof (or living roof) is a roof of a building that is partially or completely covered with vegetation and a growing medium, planted over a waterproofing material or surface. It will help to filter rain, and can be an incredible addition to a space.
Hoppy hoppy Easter from our hearts to yours! We hope you have a wonderful day today. Remember that it's the time of year when wee bunbuns may be hiding in your yard; be sure to watch your step when maintaining your garden. If you're looking for some Easter crafts today, natural dyes are beautiful on eggs, and you can use red cabbage, turmeric, frozen blueberries, or yellow onions to achieve lovely colors.๐ŸŽจ
Thank you so much for this lovely feature @rainwiseseattle! This was such a wonderful project and we're so excited Merica loves her rain garden!๐Ÿค—๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ

And if you're dreaming about a spring garden this year, it's not too late to set one up. Let us know your garden goals and we'll work with your unique yardscape to design something beautiful. Interested in edibles and native plantings? Even better! We love building container gardens and helping create homes for abundant and lush urban plantlife. Throwback to this super fun landscaping project with @pathwaydc!
We just adore these sweet lil' mason bees so much! They're incredible pollinators and so gentle. If you're interested in getting on the list for leafcutter bees (also very docile, and they emerge a few weeks after mason bees), there's still time! Shoot us an email at hello@hg-organics.com and we'll bee sure to add you!๐Ÿค—
